Why are these socks more expensive than average?

Lucid sock price details

Because we pay everyone fairly. Because we pay for sustainable and local materials at a fair price. But above all: because it is the average that is not expensive enough to guarantee all that.

Plus, if you do the math, these socks are even cheaper than average in the end:

  • €4 Fast-Fashion socks worn 10 times (thrown away because they didn't hold up to washing or went out of fashion*): €4/10 = €0.4 per use
  • Lucid socks at €16 worn at least 2x per month for 3 years**: €16/72 = €0.22 per use

We are not math geniuses but we are convinced that the bill is less salty at our place.

Size advice

  • Take your usual size for maximum comfort

How to maintain your STRIPES?

  • Favor washing at 30° or 40° max. The first time it is advisable to wash with similar colors
  • Turn your socks inside out before washing them, it preserves them
  • Drying in the open air extends its lifespan, reduces your electricity bill and respects our beautiful planet

TO CHANGE THE NORM, START BY PUTTING ON THE RIGHT SOCKS

We help you take the first step

Durable socks with a sporty and colorful style that easily liven up your outfits.

Change the norm with socks that are strong, comfortable, and less disruptive to the planet . What else, as Georges would say.

A mix between solidity and recycling

As usual, our first instinct was to tell ourselves that we were going with 100% recycled materials for our socks. But after discussions/tests with our French sock expert partner, we decided to mix as many recycled materials as possible with virgin materials in order to ensure a high level of strength.

Because after all, sustainability also means making clothes last as long as possible. We don't want our socks to turn into mittens after 3 washes.

We relocated (but to France, don’t worry)

At the beginning, we looked for Belgian workshops to help us develop the perfect sock. But after a few phone calls, we realized that it was going to be more complicated than expected to have them manufactured in the kingdom.

So, we went to find the sock experts in France: Maison Broussaud . For 3 generations, this family workshop and certified “living heritage company” has been producing crazy socks, which we would think would be a shame not to introduce you to.

You'll never get up on the wrong foot again

The comfort of a sock is still the number 1 objective. And to achieve this objective, we found lots of little tips: integration of recycled cotton for comfort, high end of the ribbed sock for better support along the shin, a thick textile just enough without being too rigid,…

You won't even sigh when you take them off at the end of your day.

Good foot, good eye

We changed the usual logo to include the brand name surrounded by 3 stripes in our colors , just as emblematic, isn't it?
